Licensed Low Voltage Cable Technician (T or C License) Location: Connecticut (Statewide travel to job sites) Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site | Long-Term We are currently hiring a Licensed Low Voltage Cable Technician with a valid Connecticut T (Telecommunications) or C (Limited Electrical) license. What You'll Do Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coax, fiber, etc.) Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics Route, label, and document cabling systems Troubleshoot and repair voice, data, and video systems Ensure compliance with CT state codes and safety standards Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet deadlines Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment Required Qualifications Valid Connecticut T-1/T-2 or C-5/C-6 license 2+ years of experience in low voltage or structured cabling Proficiency with cable testers, hand tools, and power tools Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications BICSI certification or equivalent Experience with fiber optic splicing and testing Familiarity with AV, security, or access control systems Why Join Us?
