**Position Overview:**
As a Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on the construction site, managing a team of skilled workers, and ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with building codes. You will be the point of contact between the field and the project manager, ensuring clear communication and smooth operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Supervise and direct construction activities on site.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Monitor safety procedures and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, laborers, and vendors.
- Review blueprints and plans to ensure proper execution.
- Resolve any issues or delays promptly and effectively.
- Maintain daily logs and progress reports for project documentation.
- Communicate with superintendents, architects, project managers, and office administrators to ensure seamless flow of information.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are available and in working order.
**Qualifications:**
- 2+ years of experience in a construction role or construction related college coursework
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- OSHA certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to improve yourself.
- Familiarity with construction technology software applications
