Job Overview:

CCS Construction Staffing is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators for a commercial project in St. Petersburg, FL. This project involves operating a mini excavator for ground floor excavation inside a high-rise building to dig plumbing trenches. There are no utilities in the work area, but operators must be certified to operate equipment.

Work Scope Includes:

• Operating a mini excavator to dig plumbing trenches on the ground floor of a high-rise building

• Performing precise excavation work in confined indoor areas

• Assisting with trench prep and material staging as needed

• Working safely in coordination with other trades on an active construction site

• Following all jobsite safety protocols and maintaining equipment properly

Requirements:

• Valid equipment operator certification (required)

• Experience operating mini excavators in commercial construction environments

• Must have full PPE (hard hat, safety vest, gloves, glasses, boots)

• Reliable transportation and consistent jobsite attendance

• Ability to take direction and work safely around other trades

• Strong attention to detail and jobsite awareness
