Crane Mechanic**
**Job Description**
Join a dedicated team as a Crane Mechanic, where you will build, maintain, and repair cranes in a dynamic work environment. This role involves a variety of tasks, including welding, electrical work, and troubleshooting, providing an opportunity to utilize and develop your mechanical skills.
**Responsibilities**
+ Build and assemble cranes.
+ Perform maintenance and preventative maintenance on cranes.
+ Attach cranes to trucks for transportation.
+ Conduct welding tasks as needed.
+ Utilize hand tools efficiently.
+ Perform electrical work with 12 and 24 volt DC current.
+ Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
+ Operate cranes for repair purposes.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3+ years of maintenance experience on trucks or heavy equipment.
+ 3+ years of experience with hydraulics.
+ Proficiency with basic hand tools.
+ Mechanical inclination.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience working on a farm is a plus.
+ DC Electrical experience with 12 and 24 volt.
+ Crane mechanic experience is advantageous.
+ Welding experience, particularly MIG welding, is a plus.
+ Must possess a valid drivers license.
+ People skills and basic computer skills.

**Work Environment**
Work in a clean shop with a team of six other mechanics. The environment may vary in temperature, being cold in winter and hot in summer. This full-time role operates on the first shift from 7am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with the possibility for overtime and optional Saturday hours. The position is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to become a permanent role. Candidates should be able to work independently and may occasionally interact with customers.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
