Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy-Civil Project Engineer to join our Washington Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing civil engineering projects, particularly in the construction of bridges and heavy infrastructure. This position requires strong technical expertise and project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee heavy-civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, plans, and budgets.
• Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar discipline.
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer in heavy-civil projects, with a focus on bridge construction.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management, and construction best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
