Job Title: Miscellaneous Metals Estimator Job Type: [Full-Time]

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Miscellaneous Metals Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience estimating fabrication and installation packages for miscellaneous metalwork, including but not limited to stairs, railings, ladders, and custom metal components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely estimates for miscellaneous metal fabrication and installation projects.

• Review architectural and structural drawings to identify scope and materials.

• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes.

• Work closely with project managers, fabricators, and clients to ensure clarity on project requirements.

• Assist in value engineering and cost-saving recommendations.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of estimating experience in miscellaneous metals or related construction trades.

• Strong understanding of fabrication and installation processes for stairs, railings, ladders, and similar components.

• Proficiency with estimating software, takeoff tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with steel detailing software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla, Bluebeam).

• Experience in both commercial and industrial construction environments.
