Superintendent

We are a mid-level general construction company located in Sarasota, FL looking for a commercial & residential superintendents. We are looking for an energetic individual to join our staff as an on-site superintendent. Must have an open-mind and be willing to learn, but most importantly, be self-motivated and committed to getting projects completed on time. Local candidates only. Construction experience preferred.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Coordinate and schedule daily job site activities
Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, inspections and deliveries
Daily interaction with project manager to confirm scope of work, orders, schedules etc..

Must have the following for consideration of this position:
Driver's license and dependable transportation
Basic tools and the ability to use them
Knowledge of construction and Florida building codes helpful
Strong organizational and managerial skills
Ability to read and understand blueprints/building plans
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High School graduate.
