Experienced Excavator operator

Company in Sanford looking for an Experienced Excavator for a month Project

8am to 5pm-20 an hour

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Excavator Operator.

• The successful candidate will operate heavy machinery such as excavators to perform duties.
• This role requires knowledge of excavation procedures, safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Duties/Responsibilities: Operate excavators and related heavy equipment safely and effectively
• Perform daily maintenance checks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Excavate and move earth, gravel, or other materials according to project plans.
• Load and unload materials from trucks using appropriate attachments.

Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures on-site. Report any malfunctions or maintenance issues to the equipment supervisor. Assist with minor repairs or adjustments to the machine if necessary. Required Skills/Abilities: Proven experience as an Excavator Operator (minimum 23 years preferred). Valid operators certification/license as required by local or state regulations. Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina. Commitment to safety and efficiency in all operations. Physical Requirements: Outdoor construction environments; exposed to various weather conditions. May require weekend or extended hours depending on project deadlines. Physical work with potential exposure to dust, loud noise, and heavy equipment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
