Construction Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee upcoming projects across the Charlotte Metro and Fort Mill, SC areas. This role requires commercial general contracting experience, with a focus on projects such as hotels, ground-up Valvoline oil changes, and various light commercial jobs throughout the Carolinas.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet budget, timeline, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractor activities, including drywall, concrete, cabinetry, and flooring.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed on-site, in compliance with OSHA 30 standards.
  • Utilize Procore software for project management and documentation.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to guide project execution.
  • Provide mentorship and training to project teams, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
Essential Skills
  • 5-10 years of experience in commercial construction management, with a track record of seeing projects through from start to finish.
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and construction supervision.
  • Proficiency in Procore software and blueprint reading.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in drywall finishing and hanging, concrete finishing and pours, cabinetry, and flooring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eager to learn and exhibit a proactive, go-getter attitude.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.50 - $43.50/hr.
