Commercial Pipefitter/Welder $25$30/hr DOE Travel + Per Diem

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Commercial Pipefitter/Welder for a full-time opportunity with a respected industrial contractor. This role is ideal for tradespeople with strong pipe welding, fabrication, and mechanical installation experience, who are comfortable working in both shop and field settings.
Pay: $25$30 per hour, depending on experience
Per Diem & Mileage: Offered when traveling to qualifying out-of-town job sites
Location: Based in the Willamette Valley travel required
Schedule: Full-time, MondayFriday (occasional weekends may apply)
Key Responsibilities:
Operate equipment such as forklifts, shearers, man lifts, bow trucks, cranes, and excavation machinery
Install and repair piping systems, including VICTAULIC and other commercial pipe systems
Perform welding using stick, wire, heliarc, and pipe welding methods in accordance with ASME standards
Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and perform layout work
Fabricate tanks, piping, structural steel, and develop custom templates and patterns
Assist with structural steel erection, scaffolding installation, and metal siding application
Ensure all work meets job site safety standards and applicable codes
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of hands-on training with successful completion of a state certification test
Valid Class 5 drivers license
Must provide your own tools
Ability to travel for field work as needed
Strong blueprint reading and fabrication skills
Familiarity with ASME code and industrial safety practices
