Electrician

Electrical Contractor in Ventura California looking to add an electrician that possesses skills in mostly residential and commercial electrical work. Must have a minimum 5 years experience Upgrading everything from single-family homes and multi-unit apartment buildings to commercial buildings. The position is open for immediate hiring. Most of the work is located in Ventura County. In addition, you must possess the following skills.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have a Resume
Must have reliable transportation to site.
Reliable and trustworthy.
Ability to Install New electrical systems and or repair old ones.
Cut and form wires to fit into the panel.
Work comfortably in cramped and/or enclosed spaces for extended periods. Including under house crawlspaces, and attics.
Be able to lift equipment weighing excess of 50 pounds. Be able to pull wire by hand through conduit.
Must be able to bend and run EMT conduit, flex.
Installations of fixtures, panels, outlets, boxes, running and pulling wire Install, service, troubleshoot and repair wiring, conduits and other electrical devices.
Have a basic understanding of NEC code book and how it applies to residential and commercial construction.
Performs other project related duties and assignments as instructed by the supervisor.
Ability to climb a ladder, work in all climates

Able to performs the following tasks:

Reading basic diagrams
Install and maintain wiring, control devices & lighting fixtures
Install electrical panel
Rough wiring: recessed cans, Jboxes, home runs, Etc.
Be able to troubleshoot
Work independently
