Pipefitter Job Description We are seeking two Pipefitters for urgent project at a Elementary School in Durham. This project aims to be completed before the summer ends, requiring approximately two months of work. The team will be handling Aquatherm PPR piping, so experience in this area and the ability to fuse it are advantageous. Responsibilities Install and fit pipes according to blueprint specifications. Perform pipe welding and brazing tasks. Assist in the fabrication of piping systems. Ensure the accurate installation of industrial piping. Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines. Maintain reliability and punctuality with a start time of 7 AM. Essential Skills Proficiency in pipe fitting and installation. Experience with blueprint reading and interpretation. Industrial pipe welding expertise. Knowledge of Aquatherm PPR piping and fusion techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work as a team player. Demonstrated reliability in previous roles. Why Work Here? Four 10-hour shifts occur Monday through Thursday, followed by two 8-hour shifts on Thursday and Friday. Employees are expected to have their PPE and tools ready for a 7 AM start. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Durham, North Carolina. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
