Electrician**

**Job Description**

Monitor all critical and building systems, making necessary adjustments and repairs. Respond to both emergency and non-emergency calls. Perform maintenance and repair of electromechanical equipment, maintaining logs and preventive maintenance records. Assist in compiling data for reports and maintain electrical distribution systems. Report unsafe conditions and perform housekeeping duties in designated areas, ensuring all work is conducted safely.

**Responsibilities**

+ Maintain and repair main electrical services, distribution services, panels, and powerline conditioners.

+ Inspect and maintain plant substation, transformers, and HV switches.

+ Install electrical utilities to production and support equipment, troubleshoot as necessary.

+ Maintain, repair, and replace all facility lighting.

+ Conduct preventative maintenance on emergency electrical power systems.

+ Assist with electrical needs in manufacturing areas.

+ Perform weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance assignments.

+ Complete work orders as assigned.

+ Provide backup for diesel fuel delivery.

+ Ensure installations comply with NEC and IEEE standards.

+ Maintain electrical diagnostic tools and equipment in safe operating condition.

+ Work overtime and flexible hours as needed.

+ Participate in Continuous Improvement teams and activities.

+ Communicate effectively with associates and escalate issues as needed.

+ Comply with safety regulations and quality policies.

+ Complete required training programs.

**Essential Skills**

+ Licensed Electrician

+ Experience with conduit, wiring, and troubleshooting

+ Knowledge of chillers, boilers, and BAS

+ Minimum of five to ten years electrical experience

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with high voltage substation and equipment is a plus

+ Ability to stand, kneel, crawl, bend, and use hands for installations and repairs

+ Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs.

**Work Environment**

Join a dynamic team of 18 responsible for maintaining a 300-room hotel, parking garage, putt-putt course, and theatre hall. Exciting projects such as a new baseball field and stadium are underway. The shift is Tuesday to Saturday, 2pm to 10:30pm.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
