Job Description: Plumbs, wires, constructs and maintains remediation equipment, tools and facilities consistent with Company work orders, blueprints, schematic drawings and other prescribed specifications.

What You'll Do:

50%: Help fabricate, install and maintain various types of electrical systems and their parts and components, including taking responsibility for installing plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, electronic and construction systems.

10%: Development of efficient methods for control panel construction. Trains other employees in the design, startup of systems on site, and repairs all tools, tech calls over phone.

10%: Assist in the bidding development of control panels. Maintain logs and records of installation, maintenance and other work performed.

10%: Development of electrical drawings, standards and control testing. Help train others on the requirements of the system (train field people).

5%: Other duties as assigned.

Working Hazards: Works in an environment with potential exposure to fumes, dirt, noise, equipment movement dangers, vibrations, dangerous chemical/solvents, electrical shock, and inclement temperature extremes.

What We're Looking For:

Education: Requires High school education, plus one or more years of additional trades training or continuing education in similar construction/engineering trades

Experience: 1-4 years of related electrical experience, or equivalent training and/or experience.

Licenses/Certifications: None.

Technical Abilities: Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical wiring, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics and construction principles and practices. Ability to read and interpret prescribed instructions as described. Basic mathematical and record keeping skills. Ability to follow work instructions and prescribed specifications.

Autonomy/Direction: Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.

Physical/Mental Exertion: Ability to perform heavy physical labor exerting up to 100 pounds of force on an occasional basis and up to 50 pounds of force on a frequent basis performing such tasks as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping.

Tools and Equipment: Ability to perform manual electrical work and equipment operation as described. Knowledge and experience with some computer programs.
