Bid Opening: Tuesday, 7/15/2025 at 12:00 AM CST Bid Request Merab Realty LLC is requesting bids from General Contractors (GC) for construction of 2007 Russel Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55411. Please prepare a Bid based upon the attached construction documents, plans, and specifications. GC is to provide pricing for entire bid project scope including all material, labor and equipment per project plans and specs. Bid Requirements The GC is expected to complete the scope of work in a timely and professional manner and to provide excellent customer service. Merab Realty LLC will be selecting the lowest responsible bidder. The GC must be competent and work within the project schedule. GC must provide proof of general liability insurance and proof of workers' compensation insurance (or exemption certificate) for their company and any sole proprietors or second tier companies prior to contractual agreement. Failure to provide documentation at time of award will result in rejection of the submitted bid. Selection will be based on but not limited to the following criteria: Price, references and demonstrated experience with this type of work. ability to perform within the time frame, compliance with Section 3 if applicable, compliance with the Small and Underutilized Business Enterprise (SUBP) if applicable, licensed and insured, in good standing with the Minnesota Secretary of State Civil Rights Compliance This project is being monitored by City of Minneapolis Staff and has workforce hiring goals. All Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE, MBE, WBE) are encouraged to submit bids. In order to Qualify as a DBE, you must be registered with the MNUCP at the time of Bid Submission. Please include any relevant documentation. Awarded subcontractors performing construction labor work will be responsible for reporting workforce utilization for the months they have worked on site. (See Bid Documents). SUBP goal of 8% combined MBE and WBE. The project workforce goals are as follows - 20% total project labor hours performed by females; 32% total project hours performed by minorities. Awarded Sub-contractors are expected to schedule staff that would help meet this goal for this project. Prevailing wages are not required, however, living wage and minimum wages are required to be paid to all employees of GC and their subcontractors.
