CAD Drafter

A.V. Lake Construction Co., Inc., a family-owned design-build general contractor serving Northeast Ohio since 1938, is seeking a skilled and motivated **CAD Drafter/Designer** to join our growing team. AutoCAD experience is required.

Responsibilities:

- Create detailed 2D construction drawings using primarily AutoCAD and related software

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop technical plans

- Revise drawings based on markups, field changes, and client feedback

- Prepare permit and construction documents as needed

- Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards

Qualifications:

- Associate degree or certificate in CAD, drafting, or related field

- Minimum 2 years of experience in drafting or design, preferably in construction

- Proficiency in AutoCAD required

- Strong understanding of construction processes and technical documentation

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
