Paint Line Supervisor

Price Industries Inc. is on the search for a Paint Line Production Supervisor, for its growing US office and manufacturing facility located in Suwanee, GA. This position will supervise and direct the performance and operation of the Paint Line to meet the company goals for quality, quantity, safety.

Responsibilities

• Attends weekly production meetings.

• Thorough knowledge of washer systems, spray booth, scheduling.

• Works with production to plan and schedule the work assignments to meet our customer needs. Works by due date.

• Supervises and directs the operation and performance of paint department to meet company standards for safety, quality, and quantity.

• Supervises guides and facilitates employees to best develop and effectively use their potential in achievement of company objectives.

• Reports to Operations Manager and maintenance department equipment that needs attention and follow up.

• Provides timely and accurate reporting of production results through established reporting procedures.

• Identifies and reports problems and discrepancies and initiates corrective action or makes recommendations as appropriate.

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure cooperative effort in achieving company goals.

• Participates in planning and implementing new and improved processes, methods, and equipment through the 5s Group, Suggestion Committee, and Safety Committee.

• Monitors and reviews production labor standards and implements new and or improved standards.

• Must demonstrate proficiency in, and compliance with, all applicable Company ISO requirements

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in a multitasking environment and work constructively under pressure

• Powder Coat paint supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

• Exceptional leadership skills with a sense of urgency and a strong aptitude

• Must be organized and detail-oriented

• College Degree or High School with 5 years of experience

• 3+ years of supervision role with a proven track record in a high volume, multi-product environment – Preferably in sheet metal and HVAC

• Experience in Lean Manufacturing

• Comfortable in a team-oriented environment

• Proficient in MS Office

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, extreme cold, and dust. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
