Superintendent
Job Description

The Superintendent is responsible for managing on-site construction activities, ensuring that all specifications, schedules, and safety standards are met. This role involves overseeing craft workers and subcontractors, handling RFIs, Purchase Orders, and Change Orders, and collaborating with various disciplines on the job site. The Superintendent will also be actively involved in all preconstruction activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage on-site construction activities to meet specifications, schedule, and safety standards.
  • Oversee the work of craft workers and subcontractors.
  • Handle RFIs, Purchase Orders, and Change Orders efficiently.
  • Collaborate with all disciplines on the job site to ensure cohesive operations.
  • Participate in all preconstruction activities to ensure project readiness.
Essential Skills
  • 4+ years of experience working as a Superintendent with a General Contracting company.
  • Proven experience in commercial construction projects, preferably in healthcare, higher education, or data centers.
  • Expertise in handling new construction, renovations, and fit-outs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction practices.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a general contracting team.
Work Environment

The role involves working on commercial construction sites, requiring collaboration with various professionals and adherence to safety standards. The Superintendent will manage both new construction and renovation projects, often in sectors such as healthcare, higher education, and data centers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $125000.00/yr.

Local work in the Columbus Metro area. Provides full, medical, dental insurance. Ability to contribute to a 401k.
