Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Overhead Crane Technician at IC&M. The role involves tasks such as inspecting, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining overhead crane systems and other steel processing equipment. The position requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, electrical / instrument / controls knowledge, and troubleshooting skills to maintain optimal performance of overhead cranes and machinery. An experienced crane technician is preferred, but we can offer some training to a less experienced technician with basic experience and an aptitude for this type of work.
Qualifications
- Experience inspecting, repairing, installing overhead crane systems and manufacturing machinery
- Field Service experience in an industrial setting
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Certification or training in OSHA and crane operation and safety is a plus
- Driver's license and good driving record required
