Job Details

Oversee estimation of all the residential remodeling projects for all three markets Denver, Minneapolis, and Chicago.

Work with cutting edge technology or contracted assistants to increase estimation efficiency and handle a large project load.

Collaborate with designers to develop accurate ballpark pricing based on site measurements, contractor relationships, and design concepts.

Redline construction drawings for accuracy for our production and trade partner teams.

Finalize sold projects by consolidating estimates, breakout options, and producing work-order-ready documentation.

Remain on-call available for Senior Designers by supporting live estimating questions or scope changes during Plan Review sessions across all three markets (these occur doing normal business hours).

In this role you are accountable for Gross Margin at close to 1% of gross margin at sale.

Create and manage project budgets on our proprietary Gross Margin Tracker (GMT), monitoring financial performance.

Lead material purchasing for assigned scopes, ensuring timely procurement and cost alignment with project budgets.

Contribute to financial improvement efforts by identifying patterns in cost overruns or gains and recommending process improvements.

Responsible for permit procurement. Support the team by finding efficiencies in this accountability.

Requirements

At least 5 years experience in residential construction estimation.

Experience in detailed reading of plans and reviewing construction documents.

Clear communicator able to work across design, production, and client-facing teams.

Refined organization skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and proficient in using and understanding Excel.

Comfortable using digital estimating tools and managing data within internal systems (e.g., Buildertrend).

Enthusiastic about building process-driven systems and working in a collaborative culture.

Preferred understanding of basic codes associated with the construction process.

Bachelors degree in construction management, interior design, or project management is helpful but not required.

Salary Range - 80,000 105,000
