A client in Baytown, Texas is hiring for a Project Scheduler as a long-term contract with possible permanent conversion working a 9/80 schedule. This person is being brought on to support mid-range projects for the capital projects group, reporting to Site Project Engineering Leadership. This role will provide schedule / progress performance measurement, assessment, and analysis to the Project Management Team analyze impacts, changes, and assist in development of recovery plans and scenarios. Review Contractor Schedule and Progress development and reporting, ensuring initial plan meets company baseline requirements, earned/actual data is accurate, and forecast data is realistic, drive, audit, and challenge Contractors as appropriate. Support the validation of ordered, received, invoiced, inventory, and installed materials and tagged equipment. Provide schedule layouts and reporting to the Project Team to aid in understanding the Plan, variances, and status of the work.

Skills and Requirements

3-10 years of experience as a Planner / Scheduler

Experience with Primavera P6

Strong excel and analytical skills

Site project experience

Ability to work and communicate effectively with a range of project team members 10+ years of related experience

Bachelor's Degree or Higher in related field (construction management, business administration)

Have industry related certification (AACE PSP, PMI-SP, PMP) null
