Project Cost Estimator

A Client in Sweeny Texas is seeking a Site Lead Project Cost Estimator, as a long-term contract with the potential to go permanent. This role will help lead and be one of the key decision makers for estimating a wide variety/size of chemical processing (expense/capital) construction projects. The team is under a site-specific project controls group, working alongside multiple team members towards various million-dollar construction projects. This role will work a 4/10 schedule with every Friday off, onsite four days a week.

Skills and Requirements

-5 years of estimating experiences with similar plant projects (extensive knowledge of piping/equipment) and recent experiences estimating/validating multiple +$5 MM projects.

-Strong Excel skills.

-Strong Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (ACCE) skills.

-Highly organized and able to successfully manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

-Able to complete project walk-downs in typical (TX) plant conditions.

-Familiar with a wide variety of: project types, estimating practices/methods, risk/contingency development, and commercial/estimating terminologies. -Bachelors degree or higher in engineering or business

-10+ Years in a similar site lead/senior estimating role in an Owner/Operator environment with multiple projects over $20 MM

-SAP experience within project/budget costs oversight/management

-AACE Membership and CEP certification

-Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)

-Contingency/Risk/Mitigation and/or monte-carlo type software experiences null
