Range: \$58,657 - \$69,263 The Kenosha County Park Foreman assists the
Park Superintendent in performing supervisory duties by organizing,
directing, and leading the work of a crew of park maintenance workers.
Work Schedule This is a full-time, year-round, salaried position. Hours
are first shift, generally Monday through Friday. Typical hours will be
6:00 AM 2:30 PM. Rotating weekends and ability to work holidays.
Position Summary and Job Duties Establish work schedule and maintain
time and attendance records for crew. Lead crew on projects and
maintenance operations which include turf maintenance, weed prevention,
grounds equipment, equipment evaluations, parts ordering, etc. Operate
specialized equipment including pickups, dump trucks, tractors, skid
steers, chippers, mowers, and loaders. Assist in planning the building,
equipment, and grounds repairs. Participate in planning a preventative
maintenance schedule. Order parts seasonally as well as required
maintenance due to equipment failure or damage. Answer questions for
park visitors so their experience at the park is a positive one. Train
new employees and make sure they understand the safety procedures.
Coordinate work efforts with groups, volunteers, recreational programs,
and court referral programs. Attend trainings and workshops. Report
unsafe conditions to Superintendent and work to eliminate them. Assist
in making sure park events go smoothly and safely. Other duties may be

requirements. Job Requirements, Education, Training and Experience Must
be at least 18 years of age at time of application. High School Diploma
or GED equivalent is required. 5 years of experience in grounds
maintenance/ facilitating in a park environment. Licenses or
Certifications Valid Class D driver\'s license with good driving record.
Commercial Driver\'s License (CDL) Class A obtained within six months of
employment, with no air brake restrictions. Commercial Pesticide
Applicator: Turf and Landscape 3.0 certification obtained within six
months of employment. Preferred Qualifications Associate\'s degree in a
related field. 10 years of experience in grounds
maintenance/facilitating in a park environment. Or any combination of
education, training and experience which provides the knowledge, skills,
