Carpenter Helper**
**Job Description**
Join a dynamic team specializing in custom architectural millwork, cabinetry, and decorative finishes, working on high-end and large-scale projects. As a carpenter helper, you will contribute to assembling die walls, countertops, and reception desks in the custom area, utilizing various woodworking techniques and tools.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble die walls, countertops, and reception desks using shop drawings and blueprints.
+ Craft trim using various types of wood and woodworking tools.
+ Utilize tables saws, shop saws, joiners, drum sanders, and beam saws.
+ Apply custom millwork construction methodology and joinery techniques.
+ Fabricate custom builds such as countertops, nurse stations, and feature walls.
+ Handle solid surface materials, perform sanding, polishing, and use pneumatic seamers.
+ Execute fabrication techniques including butt and miter joints, adhesive and clamp applications.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
+ Experience with hand and power tools.
+ Proficiency in carpentry, woodworking, and home-building.
+ Familiarity with custom millwork construction methodology.
+ Knowledge of plastic laminate, wood lumber & veneers, and solid surface materials.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ At least 2 years experience in a manufacturing plant as a custom wood/millwork fabricator.
+ Familiarity with using routers, saws, drills, and sanders.
+ Experience with the use of pneumatic seamers and various sanding tools.
