Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

An experienced Construction Administrator needed at Construction/Development Company's Fort Lauderdale Main office.

To succeed in the role, the candidate must be self-motivated, ambitious, organized, and have strong time management skills and a sense of urgency for critical deadlines. We are looking for a candidate who can work independently and as a member of project teams in addition to the aptitude to read and interpret construction drawings.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Communicate and interface with contractors, project managers, and various consultants including involved with projects.Assist in planning and coordinating all aspects of the construction process, review change order proposals, RFI (Request for Information), submittals, transmittals and reports as neededChange Order Management utilizing Procore, working closely with field team to generate, track, update, and closeout all documents.RFI Management using Procore to receive, input, track and ensure complete lifecycle of RFI's to completion.Pay Application Management working closely with controller, sending monthly notice to subs, verifying all submissions are on time and properly filled out in addition to ensuring all insurance and liability requirements are current.Submittal Management within Procore involves strong communication with subs, uploading proper documents and

managing the process to ensure all revisions are included and submittals approved and completed.Construction Drawings Management within Procore uploading all plans, revisions, and spec manuals in a timely manner.Research information requests for Project ManagersOrganize and file Inspection ReportsPermit Management/TrackingFill requests from Project Managers for forms and supplies as neededMake copies and prints as necessary for various sub-contractors. Includes Electronic information.Communication with Project Managers is critical in having all submittals, drawings and other project paperwork in order

and up to date.Contract Administration and tracking is done within Procore ensuring all documents are completed in a timely manner.Assist the Project Manager in close-out paperwork for projects.Work independently and within the team on special, non-recurring and on-going projects.Review and reformat/revise Construction Administration forms per Industry standards

Requirements

Minimum 5 years recent office experience in the construction industryExperience in multi-family or mixed-use projects is highly desirableAbility to read and interpret construction drawings is mandatoryStrong skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project utilized for project oversightStrong verbal and written communication skillsBilingual in Spanish a plusStrong interpersonal skillsCareful attention to detail
