Carpenter needed Someone backed out due to a family emergency

I have a straight wooden soffit that needs to be replaced. on my side porch. The front wood piece has gotten rotted with aging, but the sides are fine. I believe, basically, just nailing a new piece of board to replace the rotted one. . But, I would have other projects in the future.

Do you have a carpenter's license or much experience?
