**THE ROLE** **:**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Welder to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the fabrication, construction, and repair of metal structures and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has recently completed welding training or certification and is looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment.
**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:**
To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
+ Perform basic welding tasks using MIG, TIG, or Stick welding techniques under supervision
+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
+ Prepare and clean workpieces for welding
+ Operate welding equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently
+ Assist with assembling metal components according to specifications
+ Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
+ Support senior welders and fabrication team as needed
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Completion of a certified welding training program or vocational school preferred
+ Basic understanding of welding techniques, tools, and safety standards
+ Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
+ Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
+ Familiarity with different welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick)
+ Experience with grinders, cutting torches, and measuring tools
**Work Environment:**
+ Workshop or manufacturing facility
+ May involve working in hot, noisy, or dusty environments
+ Use of protective gear including helmet, gloves, and steel toe boots required
