Position Summary:
- The Painter performs all necessary functions in the operation, preventative maintenance and repairs of the interior and exterior painting, plastering, and cosmetic appearance of the Hospital's building and grounds.
- Applies paint, wall coverings, and special finishes to walls, floors, ceilings, and diffuser, furniture, and any other related surfaces as directed.
- Prepares surfaces including: sanding, taping, plastering, and all other related duties.
- Mixes materials used: such as paints, stains, varnishes, enamels, lacquers and "custom" colors as required.
- Cleans and maintains tools, brushes, equipment and supplies.
- On a weekly basis, checks "Area of Responsibility" and notes deficiencies on Shift Log and takes corrective action as needed.
Shift:
Full-time, Day Shift (40 hours per week)
Tuesday - Saturday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Education/ Experience
- High School graduate or G.E.D. Certificate preferred or with equivalent combination of training and experience is necessary.
- Minimum of two years (four years desirable) of experience in the field of painting, plastering and wall preparation. Prefer experience in a hospital setting.
Salary Range: Minimum $20.40/hour - Maximum $33.65/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
