What We're Looking For We're seeking an experienced, detail-driven Senior Preconstruction Estimator with strong communication skills, excellent organizational habits, and a hands-on, team-oriented mindset. You must currently reside in South Florida and be able to work onsite at our office in Hollywood, Florida. This position reports directly to the VP of Operations and plays a vital role in setting projects up for success. Your Responsibilities Will Include Review construction documents to determine project requirements and scope Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions and site logistics Prepare quantity take-offs for labor, material and equipment Prepare conceptual budgets as requested based on historical data Present budgets and value-engineering options to clients and designers throughout the design process Develop historical data and current market rates database Develop and maintain relationships with trade partners and suppliers Manage trade and supplier prequalification process Prepare and distribute Invitations to Bid Create trade specific scope sheets and level trade proposals for scope, pricing and compliance with bid documents Provide detailed Qualifications and Assumptions exhibit with each Construction Estimate Proposal Ability to present construction estimates to clients and design team Support operations with Subcontractor buyout, Contract negotiation and Change Order administration as time allows Stay current with estimating software and best practices in the industry, continual improvement mindset Represent company at industry events and community engagements Provide guidance and teaching to junior staff Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, bend, climb, crouch or walk for extended periods of time Other duties as assigned Why Join Us At Coble Builders, you'll work on remarkable private residences alongside a collaborative, passionate team. Come build something extraordinary with us. 10+ years' experience in estimating, ideally within luxury residential construction in both ground up single family homes and condominium interior renovations and build-outs Bachelor's degree (or equivalent industry experience) Fluency with Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, and construction software Deep knowledge of South Florida subcontractor and vendor markets Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and client service skills Valid driver's license and ability to be physically present both in-office and on-site
