Manages daily operation of procurement professionals Motivates, trains, supervises, evaluates and addresses disciplinary issues to ensure maximum utilization of individual and team capabilities. Monitors procurement and contracting operations to ensure optimal price, quality, and service. Actively leads or participates in RFPs, contract negotiations, proposals, etc. Ensures professional relationships are cultivated with both internal customers and suppliers while maintaining the highest of ethical standards and customer service. Skilled in consensus building and project management. Ability to quickly establish credibility and build organizational relationships. Actively collaborates and encourages collaboration between Procurement, Contracting, Materials Management, and Informatics teams. Responsible for annual expense reduction of $125,000 Develops and implements metrics for a variety of procurement-related activities including but not limited to: Savings, Productivity, Transactions, Budgets, etc. Review and develop system-wide Procurement operations policies, procedures and office practices to continually enhance procurement operations. Primary backup to the Procurement Compliance Manager in managing and completing system product recalls. Fosters a collaborative relationship with Accounts Payable to ensure timely invoice reconciliation and supplier resolution. Helps team resolve supplier credit holds as needed. Adheres to HIPAA compliance, as work is often confidential, sensitive and / or critical in nature and requires a broad working knowledge of organization and health system practices and policies. PAY RANGE: $65,000.00 - $88,000.00 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14617 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
