Position Summary

The Field Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of installation projects and customer satisfaction. This multifaceted position is responsible for overseeing installations, addressing customer concerns, supervising and training a dynamic team, fostering collaboration across departments, and efficiently managing job costs.

The incumbent will work closely with Project Management team in plann ing, scheduling and coordinating activities within installation to ensure that Kastle system install or change orders are provided accurately and on time, and that these services meet or exceed client expectations.

Essential Functions

Installation Oversight (40%)

  • Oversee installation processes and maintain real-time situation awareness.
  • Address escalated calls or issues involving installers and customers, researching causes and s olutions to meet customer expectations.
  • Monitor team productivity and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
  • Oversee QC of jobs completed by techs and subcontractors and supply feedback to managment

People Supervision & Training (20%)

  • A s sist scheduler with daily work schedules to ensure comprehensive installation coverage.
  • A s sist Managment with daily, weekly, and monthly status reports on employee performance, assisting with corrective actions when needed.
  • Coach and provide training to staff on new processes, procedures, products, and tools.
  • Provide constructive feedback to Installation Techs to drive quality and accuracy of installations.
  • Supervise the team during assigned shifts.

Collaboration / Advisory Role (20%)

  • Collaborate with various levels of management across departments to resolve inter-depart mental customer issues related to installation.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of all installation contract requirements and regulations.
  • Provide support to client services and sales teams.
  • Will attend client meetings to offer valuable insights and guidance.

Job Costs Management (20%)

  • Supp ort Project management by verifying the ordering of materials and reviewing orders for efficiency.
  • Support with Maintain ing inventory of tools, equipment, and individual tool issues .
  • Asit management with Review ing timesheets and allocating costs effectively.

Work Environment

This job operates in different types of environments including professional climate-controlled office environment and active constructive sites . In addition, individuals on occasions may have exposure to the elements when performing job duties at active construction sites, places without HVAC, or in confined spaces (closets, basements); will work with electricity .

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, move or carry items weighing up to 75 lbs . The employee must frequently walk, balance, climb stairs and ladders while bearing weight . Must be able to work while arms are extended above head .

Must be able to see, hear, with or without accommodation . Position requires the individual to be able to distinguish between color vision. Must have full range of motion, gross and fine motor skills, able to manipulate and grip small items and use hand tools , e lectrified tools and devices .

May be required to sit for long period of time at a desk performing sedentary work. The employee is occasionally required to use repetitive motion using a keyboard, mouse, and telephone .

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • 1 0 + years of experience in the alarm , access control, CCTV, and Networking.
  • Subject Matter Expert of all Kastle products .
  • Technical expertise in installation tools, equipment, and technology , incl uding electronic testing equipment, hand and power tools, Advanced Networking, Computers, Alarm systems, Access Controls, and CCTV , basic programming .
  • Solid understanding of PIR technology, Doppler theory, and AC/DC theory.
  • Thorough knowledge of installation techniques .
  • Knowledge of building codes pertaining to construction, fire, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
  • Proven experience in installation oversight and field supervision.
  • Knowledge of job cost management and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with installation contract requirements and industry regulations.
  • Proficiency in report preparation and analysis .

Preferred Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Certification in Project Management a plus
