Assistant Project Manager, Design & Construction FLSA Status: Exempt, Salaried Location: New York, NY Worksite Status: In Office Were Beam Living, a multi-family residential property management company that elevates, oversees, and supports communities throughout New York City. - Permitting and Processing a unique opportunity to work in the entire life cycle of multiple projects.
- Build and manage a digital archive of architectural, structural, MEP and site plan drawings for all of our various existing communities and the ongoing construction projects.
- Build things. Make the physical parts of living in our communities better, stronger, more beautiful.
- Assist in the administration and oversight of construction projects across our various communities.
- Paperwork, Assist in all levels of the project process
- Prior knowledge of the New York City Department of Building process
- An analytical ability to collect and use information to solve complex problems.
- The technical experience to be able to understand and identify complex drawings sets and properly attribute and archive them.
- Basic understanding (0-3 years) of construction documents and commercial/residential construction.
- NY Construction Experience Preferred.
- A Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite software required.
- Fanatical discipline and relentless desire to do what needs to be done.
- A love for doing what others wont and solving very difficult problems.
- A desire to grow and take on ever increasing responsibility.
- Doing any, or all of that, in a multi-family environment would be good too.
