The Hitchcock, Texas site is expanding its team and is currently seeking

Construction Helpersfor the

1st Shift.This is an exciting opportunity to join nVent during a period of growth and innovation. As a Construction Helper at nVent, you will embark on an ambitious journey where every day brings new opportunities to excel. In this role, you will:

- Provide essential assistance to journeymen in assembling buildings and installing various components, such as HVAC units, windows, and doors.

- Cut materials using a variety of construction tools and equipment, ensuring flawless handling and installation of insulation.

- Assist with the layout of cutouts and the installation of panels, closely following industry standards.

- Demonstrate expertise with multiple construction power tools and hand tools, contributing to project execution.

- Conduct housekeeping tasks as necessary, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

- Work collaboratively with your team, yet take initiative and work independently when needed.

- Efficiently implement solutions to adapt to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected challenges in projects.

- Be available for 2nd Shift and overtime work as determined by project requirements.

You have:

- A consistent track record in providing support in construction or a similar field.

- Prior experience in handling and installing construction components.

- Skills in using diverse construction tools and equipment.

- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a great teammate.

- Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands of a construction site, including lifting heavy materials, working at heights, and enduring varying weather conditions.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
