The Work You Will Do:
Graphic Design Consultant, Multimedia Services, Organizational Development Office
This position will provide multi-media services statewide to create computer-based training learning activities and course content, story boards and other necessary graphic design services that aid the department in learning tools, messaging and communication with employee engagement deliverables support the departments mission.

Annual Salary Range:
$62,000.19 - $80,235.54 /annual range
Your Specific Responsibilities:
Design and develop Computer-Based Training (CBT) by using engaging learning activities, course content, quizzes and course interactions that will aid in retention and transfer, meet the business need, support the overall training strategy of the Department, and meet all required compliance standards, including but not limited to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other Department standards.
Create compelling graphics, such as banners, logos, flyers, posters, infographics, etc. using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Edit and create engaging videos for use on websites and in CBTs using Adobe Premiere Pro, Captivate, and After Effects.
Create storyboards, discuss project plans, follow project schedules, and manage project workloads independently while maintaining a strong working relationship and effective communication with the team members and customers.
Assists with researching, developing, and implementing innovative solutions to improve business operations and practices.
The Successful Candidate will have the following required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
- Knowledge of industry concepts and practices relating to instructional design and adult learning concepts, techniques, and methods.
- Knowledge of trends in creative design, processes, products, digital media, and websites.
- Knowledge of Section 508 Standards, the Americans with Disabilities Act and other Department standards.
Skills in:
- Skill in strategic planning, program development, and project management.
- Skill in researching, compiling, and analyzing data to report findings and develop improvement solutions.
- Skill in providing presentations, consultation services, and training programs.
- Skill in using Microsoft Suite; including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.
- Skill in using multimedia development tools (audio-video production, streaming media, graphic design, web site design, computer-based training software, publication software, etc.), with special emphasis on the Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Captivate.
Ability to:
- Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, prioritize, and manage complex work assignments and project schedules.
- Ability to research, identify, and implement innovative solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively; both verbally and written.
- Ability to receive and give constructive criticism and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
Minimum Qualifications:
Four (4) years of experience in Instructional Design, Web Design, Graphic Design, Corporate Multimedia Production, Digital Design and Animation, Fine Arts, or other multimedia related subjects. Post-secondary education from an accredited college or university may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
