- Coordinate subcontractors, managing daily needs and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Oversee quality control, assessing work performed on-site and implementing necessary changes.
- Manage daily operations on the construction site, including creating schedules, running project meetings, and ensuring adherence to timelines.
- Act as the on-site manager, addressing issues raised by subcontractors and focusing on health and safety protocols.
- Maintain clear communication with the project team back in the office.
- Ensure thorough daily documentation and reporting.
- 2+ years of Construction Superintendent experience.
- 5+ years of overall construction experience.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Experience with commercial and industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards.
- Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- Background in skilled trades, particularly carpentry.
- Open to experienced foremen ready to transition to a superintendent role.
- Experience in managing affordable housing projects is a plus.
