Duties include drive and operate farm machinery such as tractors and combines to perform farm activities such as harvesting of crops wheat & beans. Workers will drive tractors installed with GPS and operate designated towing equipment, drills, disks, and drags for falls work to prepare the soil and fertilize for the next years planting season. (2026) They will haul materials, supplies, or crops to designated locations. Workers will haul grains, equipment, and input items such as fertilizer, seed, and supplies to storage and stockpiles on the farm or local elevators. All crops and supplies will be the property of the Employer. There will be no commercial hauling.
Routine maintenance will be done on all equipment & grounds. Workers must be able to work independently after being given instructions and must be team players when needed.
Requirements:
- Employees have valid driver's licenses or obtain one in 30 days.
- Cell phone usage is limited to business-related calls only.
- NO TEXTING.
- No smoking in equipment, vehicles, housing, or grounds.
- No drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours and otherwise discouraged.
- Must be able to read, understand, and speak English for record keeping and safety reasons.
- No Educational level is required.
- Must have 3 months of tractor driving installed with GPS and towed implements. Operate and understand GPS and
computerized monitors.
In view of the statutorily established basic function of the Employment Service (ES) as a no-fee labor exchange that is as a forum for bringing together employers and job seekers, neither the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) nor the State Workforce Agencies (SWA) are guarantors of the accuracy or truthfulness of information contained on job orders submitted by employers. Nor does any job order accepted or recruited upon by the ES constitute a contractual job offer to which the ETA or a SWA is in any way a party.
