As a Welder Lead here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading a team of welders and ensuring the quality and efficiency of welding operations. You will report directly to our Welding Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Palmetto, FL location.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our welding operations, ensuring that all welds meet quality standards and are completed in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring junior welders, providing guidance and support to help them improve their skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate on a team of welders and conducting welding operations

Ensure all welds meet quality standards and specifications

Train and mentor junior welders

Collaborate with other departments to coordinate welding activities

Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper safety procedures are followed

YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in welding or a similar role

Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

WE VALUE

Technical certification in welding or a related field

Knowledge of OSHA standards and 5S+1

Proficient in welding standards and best practices

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
