Were seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing Denver, CO team, supporting the delivery of complex planning and construction projects that serve schools, colleges, universities, cities, and communities across the country.

Seeking candidates located in the Denver, CO area who will support local clients onsite, plus options to work from home.

What Youll Do

As an Assistant Project Manager, youll support large-scale programs and take ownership of smaller capital projects, typically over $10M. Youll be part of a close-knit team that leads clients through every project stage, from vision to completion.

Youll:

  • Support Project Managers or Senior PMs on complex programs while managing smaller assignments independently.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, keeping them informed, engaged, and aligned on schedule, budget, and quality goals.

  • Develop project deliverables tailored to each clients needs, including reports, presentations, budgets, and timelines.

  • Coordinate internal teams and external partners (architects, engineers, builders, and consultants).

  • Oversee day-to-day project activities and ensure all deliverables are on time and error-free.

  • Participate in B&Ds professional development opportunities, growing your expertise across multiple project types.

  • Contribute to business developmentwriting thought pieces, attending conferences, and helping build client relationships.

What Youll Bring
  • A bachelors degree in architecture, construction management, planning, real estate, finance, economics, or a related field.

  • 35 years of project management, implementation, or consulting experience.

  • Familiarity with planning and executing large-scale projectsparticularly those in education, public sector, or civic environments.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfort working with project planning tools.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and facilitate confidently.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.

  • A team-first mindset and a desire to mentor others as you grow.

  • Comfortable working independently and proactively in fast-paced, multi-dimensional environments.

  • A valid drivers license and reliable transportation for occasional travel.

This role's target base annual salary range is currently $75,000-90,000. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education, experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate, and pay relative to other team members.
