- Represent the MEP team professionally in meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal staff, ensuring clear and effective communication across disciplines.
- Lead MEP staff and trade partners with a focus on mentorship, supervision, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Manage multiple, complex MEP scopes across concurrent construction projects with limited oversight, maintaining strict alignment with project schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Execute complete MEP buyouts, negotiate subcontracts and vendor agreements, ensuring contract terms, scope clarity, and risk mitigation.
- Oversee MEP design review, constructability analysis, and value engineering from concept through construction, driving alignment between design intent and field execution.
- Convert MEP estimates into construction budgets, track budget revisions, review material invoices, and manage subcontractor pay apps and change orders.
- Develop and manage the MEP construction sequence, coordinating closely with the superintendent to integrate trades and ensure early delivery of key systems and components.
- Collaborate with safety teams to implement and enforce site-specific plans, respond to MEP-related incidents, and promote a strong safety culture.
- Review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and field conditions, providing field support to ensure MEP systems meet contract requirements and commissioning readiness.
- Preferred 4-year degree in an accredited construction-related curriculum or equivalent experience.
- 10 years' experience as Project Manager and/or 10-15 years of construction-related experience.
- Demonstrated competency in scheduling, budget/cost control, financial reporting, client relationship, interpersonal skills, computer skills, communication skills, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedule.
- Competency in PC-based scheduling and spreadsheet applications such as Primavera, Procore, Timberline, Excel, and Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- LEED background a plus.
