- Operate and maintain terminal equipment including pumps, meters, LACTs, and related systems.
- Conduct pigging operations and product sampling.
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Respond to outages and abnormal operating conditions.
- Use computer systems to manage work orders, emails, and maintenance logs.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and participate in emergency response training.
- Supervise third-party contractors and ensure work quality and safety.
- Maintain site housekeeping and contribute to a culture of operational excellence.
- Grade 12 diploma.
- Valid trade ticket and 4th Class Power Engineering certification.
- 3+ years of oil & gas operations experience, preferably in pipeline or terminal settings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with field operations.
- Proficient with computers and digital work order systems.
- Must be local to Fort Saskatchewan and available for 8-on/6-off rotation.
- Familiarity with pipeline pigging or scraper operations.
- Experience with oil and gas product quality sampling, including BSW test, density tests, and vapor pressure tests.
- Valid trade ticket and 4th Class Power Engineering certification is nice to have, but not necessary for the right candidate with relevant experience.
The work environment offers a shift pattern of 8 days on and 6 days off, with 10-hour workdays and potential for overtime. The position requires local residency within approximately 60 kilometers of Fort Saskatchewan. Initially, this role is for 6 months with the potential for extension up to 18 months, and it may become a full-time position.
