This position will provide project level design leadership on high profile and transformative roadway and bridge design projects. Stantec has an extensive project management training and mentoring program.
**Your Key Responsibilities**
* Develop project management plans and establish project goals and objectives
* Interface directly with clients and manage many aspects of a project autonomously to meet contractual obligations, schedule, and budget
* Manage established program
* Provide day-to-day leadership for team members
* Engineering analysis and oversight of PS&E production for state and local highways
* Client coordination
* Project Management, highway, roadway, transit, and bridge projects
* Additional responsibilities will include coordination of project team design efforts, leadership of client meetings and assistance with development of project proposals
**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
* Ability to manage design teams and meet client requirements
* Experience and knowledge working on and managing final roadway & bridge design and planning projects
* Experience in alternate project delivery methods including design-build a plus
* Demonstrate initiative and attention to detail and accuracy
* Self-motivated individual with strong written and verbal communication skills
* Participate and develop responses to client proposals
* Develop business relationships with clients
* Participation in professional associations
* Good driving record and valid drivers license required
**Education and Experience**
* Bachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil/Structural Engineering desirable.
* 8 years experience in transportation (bridge, roadway, or transit) design and Project Management
* Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the State of Washington required
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

**Pay Range:**
* Locations in WA, DC & Various CA areas - Min Salary $ 122,700.00 - Max Salary $ 184,100.00
**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
