A leading EPC firm focused on complex medium and high voltage electrical systems is seeking an experienced Substation Estimator for a role in Houston TX. Role Overview: Prepare cost estimates for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors on a range of transmission, distribution, and substation projects, including both new builds and upgrades. Responsibilities include analyzing costs, conducting site assessments, reviewing technical drawings, identifying risks, collaborating with project stakeholders, using estimation software, and ensuring contract compliance. Requirements: Experience in the utilities or construction sector. Degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities. Preferred: Background in medium and high voltage electrical construction.
