This role is responsible for leading a team of field service technicians to resolve technical product issues with customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, metal fabrication, mechanics, welding, construction, and transportation. Key Responsibilities: The Field Service Supervisor supervises, hires, trains, and manages field technicians. They will act as the primary training resource for the field team. Respond to customer calls, assess the customer calls, make decisions on appropriate action plans and dispatch service technicians to oilfield locations. Works with customers to understand their needs. Examples include pricing, information needed on invoice, contracts, work hours, new product ideas, product needs, product improvements, etc. Travel as needed to customer sites. Assist in handling customer disputes for billing. Assist in developing procedures for the work being performed. Assist in conducting safety meetings and assuring work is being done safely. Verify tickets are being filled out completely and accurately by field technicians. Assist with inventory management of supplies and service parts. Assist in developing and following a budget for the department. Ensures employees have appropriate equipment, PPE, and resources to do their job. Establishes schedule for inspecting and documenting all field services work. Ensures full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company/customer handbooks, procedures, safety, and emergency procedures. Interacts with others in a professional manner. Performs any other delegated duties considered appropriate to maintain the efficient running of the department. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in collaborative manner with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and management. Support and help develop their team with professional development short- and long-term goals. Helps company meet its Strategic, Quality and Safety objectives. Other duties may be assigned. Job Requirements/Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred. 3 years recent oilfield experience strongly preferred. 3-5 years of hands-on plumbing, electrical, fabrication, mechanics, welding, construction, and transportation experience is preferred. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience Must possess a clean driving record with current license. Proficient in various computer programs including MS Office products and dispatching systems. OR An acceptable combination of education and experience Functional & Cognitive Requirements of Position: This position requires walking, sitting, or standing to a significant degree. Must have the ability to lift 70 pounds from floor to waist, carry 50 pounds, and push and/or pull up to 100 pounds. Must have the ability to climb ladders and/or stairs. Stooping, crouching, kneeling, and bending. Handling, feeling, and gripping would be required for some activities. Visual acuity is required to inspect work completed. This role may be subject to internal and external environmental conditions. Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to communicate with visitors, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.
