We are currently seeking a talented full-time Planner / Scheduler for Life Science, Industrial Manufacturing and Technology sector with experience in multi-faceted campus projects. In this pivotal role you'll have the opportunity to work directly with clients delivering iconic major capital projects. Responsibilities Manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives. Support the Project Management and Planning function in the delivery of the project ensuring projects and tenders are effectively planned, scheduled, and monitored and delivered on time and profitably. Develop detailed plans taking full cognizance of logistics / site / project constraints Interface with Project Team, contributing to the production of the weekly progress report to the project team and understand functional obligations under form of contract. Review and capture productivity to measure progress. Communicate effectively with the client, project team and stakeholders. Incorporate sustainable design and procurement process within integrated programs. Ensure health and safety through program integration. Establish and oversee project work plan and deadlines. Responsible for the planning of medium complexity projects, a portfolio of smaller projects or sections of larger projects. Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work. Qualifications Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or another related field (MS, MBA preferred). Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience working in a Planning / Scheduling role in the construction industry. Large construction in Pharma / Life Science and / or Manufacturing experience, including commissioning and validation activities is desirable. Experience working in a Planning and Scheduling position for engineering, procurement and construction projects is essential. Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6. Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications and construction contracting; understand different procurement routes and types and forms of contract. Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills, along with the ability to assure service delivery and provide meaningful / actionable insights. Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
