Location: Woodinville, WA Salary: $60,000-$70,000 Position Summary: The Drafter/Project Engineer is responsible for producing detailed shop drawings for custom casework and millwork using AutoCAD. This role involves interpreting architectural construction documents, managing drawings from submittal through fabrication, and coordinating all technical aspects to ensure project success. Primary Responsibilities: Review and interpret architectural construction drawings. Collect all relevant project information, including materials, finishes, hardware, and appliance details. Research and compile information on custom or uncommon materials, including installation guidelines, size options, and technical specifications. Maintain a working knowledge of the materials and hardware used by the company. Attend and coordinate meetings with architects and contractors to review project scope and details; schedule meetings as needed. Draft casework and millwork based on project specifications and quotes, using AutoCAD, following company standards and drafting protocols. Manage the submittal and approval process, responding promptly to related questions or concerns, and ensure timely approvals. Update shop drawings based on field-verified measurements and markups. Conduct thorough self-reviews for accuracy and quality. Release approved drawings to production. Coordinate with the shop on any custom CNC requirements and provide drafting support as needed. Collaborate with the Operations Department to maintain alignment with the project schedule. Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts with both the Operations team and General Contractor.
