Job Description


Airswift is looking for Lead Project Scheduler to work with one of our major clients in Port Arthur, TX Summary Develop, manage, and monitor project schedules at an expert level to support management teams throughout the project development phases and support engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning during the EPC contract execution phase. Conduct forensic evaluation and risk schedule analyses and submit recommendations and resolutions to the Lead Project Controls and Project Controls Managers. Duties and Responsibilities Develop high level project schedule during the development phase, perform scheduling tasks, importing, exporting, and reporting using Primavera P6 Professional using latest release version, participate in the data collection and analyze project information to support project schedules. Manage/report complex CPM project schedules including variances and analyze critical activities and longest activities. Facilitate schedule reviews, work closely with management team, and provide resolutions and timely inputs on weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc schedule review reports as required. Perform contractor's schedule review, analyze data, develop varying levels of schedule status reports, and communicate with the management team on issues and /or potential delays. Analyze, monitor, and report on milestones and progress payments during the project execution, evaluate and verify earned values from Rules of Credit and Work Packages, and provide quantity audits of progress measurement systems at the highest level. Perform What-ifs scenario analysis. Work closely with Contracts Manager on Change Orders, provide analysis of contractor's schedule delay claims, and evaluate recovery and acceleration of schedule. Work closely with Risk Management team and provide analysis and evaluation on schedule impacts of risks via Monte Carlo simulations using Acumen Risk. Develop and maintain Lessons Learned log for review and implementation, and ensure to maintain Back-ups, imported, and exported schedule files are organized in hosting sites. Work closely with management teams and maintain positive relationships with customers, project members, and contractors. Education Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical discipline/related experience required. Experience 10+ years in a comparable role performing project scheduling, planning and analysis in the construction industry; hands-on Primavera P6 experience; schedule risk analysis using risk analysis tool(s) required. 10+ years of Oil, gas, power, LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) industry experience . 10+ years of experience as an Owner's representative scheduler . 10+ years of experience in evaluation and analysis of Earned Value Management metrics . Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of project management, construction techniques and best practices. ??????? Knowledge of forensic and delay schedule analysis techniques using schedule analysis tools such as Acumen Fuse. Knowledge of the concept of schedule risk analysis and application of Monte Carlo simulations, and experience with use of schedule risks analysis tool such as Acumen Risk. Ability to analyze data, solve problems and present solutions in a clear and concise manner. Ability to organize, plan, control, coordinate, and effectively manage cross-functional schedule activities. Ability to develop integrated schedules from all functions teams during the development phases of a project. Knowledge of MS Office i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Word and MS Projects. Licenses and Certifications Project Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) required. Other Qualifications Able to travel to Project Construction sites and other office locations (i.e., San Diego).
