Summary The Central Fill Project Manager provides direct oversight and management for Central Fill installations, change orders, removals, upgrades, conversions, inspections, and training. Will be responsible for managing high cost projects that are complex and require commanding cross-functional leadership to ensure success and positive customer outcomes. The incumbent must be able to travel up to 50% of the time. The primary focus is on Central Fill installations. However, the Implementation Project Manager may be expected to lead and manage implementation tasks related to: Customized software orders - documenting requirements and scope of work Business Integration Analysis reviews and documentation System through-put testing (onsite, and in-house) Customer Training sessions (onsite, remote, and in-house) Onsite management during the installation phase ***PLEASE NOTE - this position is remote Job Description We are the makers of possible BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Managing all post-contract activities through implementation planning and execution for new installations of pharmacy automation systems Customer Liaison: Serving as the primary point of contact between customers and Parata's internal teams throughout the implementation lifecycle Service Management: Handling contracting, quoting, sales opportunity creation, and invoice collection for various service types (removals, upgrades, conversions, inspections, training) Reporting: Maintaining current project status using tools like Salesforce and participating in review meetings Budget Management: Tracking costs weekly to ensure projects maintain profit margins Supply Chain Coordination: Working with Procurement to ensure timely ordering, receiving, and shipping of project materials Revenue Forecasting: Accurately predicting current and future quarter revenue for assigned projects Target Achievement: Driving installations to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast targets and revenue goals Risk Management: Proactively identifying risks, developing resolution plans, and raising issues as needed Required Skills and Experience: Understanding of implementation project governance (scope management, tollgate processes, risk and change management) Strong documentation skills and experience with centralized reporting systems (Salesforce) Experience in construction and automation project management Prior experience working in or managing projects for central fill pharmacies Solid understanding of pharmacy automation products is preferred (automation systems, pharmacy host software) Travel by car and/or air is required. Travel may consume 10%-90% of the workday Weekend and overtime and/or overnight work and travel may be required Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, OR equivalent of four or more years of project or account management experience, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry Work environment and physical demands: This position may be subject to both outside environmental conditions as well as inside environmental conditions common to a pharmacy or warehouse facility during an installation or maintenance visit Work primarily will be performed in an office environment, involving long-term sitting, frequent standing, and occasional walking, as well as include common hazards maneuvering through office, pharmacy, and warehouse locations Must be able to carry, lift, and push/pull up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally Must have the ability to see, smell, hear, talk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel and twist, crouch, crawl, reach, grasp, sit, stand, and walk While COVID-19 precautions are in effect, this role requires use of face masks/face coverings and gloves while working in customer pharmacies At BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
