We're currently hiring a Project Designer or Architect with 3-5 years of experience. This is a growth-focused role offering exposure to every phase of architectural workfrom early concept through construction administration. We're looking for someone who's motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to take on responsibility within a supportive environment.
Current Projects Include:
Deeply sustainable single- and multi-family residential projects
Public-sector work with NYC's DDC Design Excellence Program, the School Construction Authority, and local universities
General Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project team on all phases of design and construction administration
Support Project Managers with client and consultant coordination
Contribute to material selection and research that reflect our commitment to sustainability and equity
Produce CAD drawings, 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials
Applying working knowledge of NYC Building Code, LPC and ADA Compliance
Developing filing sets for NYC DOB and LPC
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture
Excellent design and presentation skills
Strong written and verbal communication in english
Proficiency in CAD, 3D modeling, and rendering software
Vectorworks experience a plus (but not required)
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary based on experience and skills
Annual performance-based bonus
Two weeks paid vacation, plus 5 personal/sick days
7 paid holidays, plus office closure between Christmas and New Year's
