Plate Roll Operator**
**Job Description**
As a Plate Roll Operator, you will be responsible for lifting steel plates of various sizes using an overhead crane equipped with various lifting clamps, hooks, and chains to accurately position the plate into a CNC roll machine. You will operate the machine using a control panel to roll the steel plate to flatten or shape it according to the job requirements. Your role will involve continuous monitoring of the quality and flatness or shape of the product throughout the process.

**Responsibilities**
+ Operate overhead crane to load, unload, and position plates on the roll machine.
+ Roll products within specified tolerances as detailed in drawings.
+ Detect and report any defective materials or questionable conditions to the foreman or supervisor.
+ Document applicable job, product, and quality information using computer and paper documents as required.
**Work Environment**
The work environment is a fabrication shop that is both indoor and outdoor. While the facility is not air-conditioned, fans circulate air to ensure a comfortable working environment.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr.
