Managers in executing and planning construction projects across Minnesota and beyond In this role youll aid in ensuring that projects of all sizes are completed both on time and on budget If youre a task oriented strategic thinker who can think one step ahead at all times were looking for you This role could also be a Hybrid role so working a blend of in the office and at home ResponsibilitiesThe basic responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager include but are not limited to the following Assist and support multiple Curtainwall Construction Project Managers with a variety of projects to include Change orders RFIs submittals job meetings billing and schedulingAssist with the project set up including equipment leasing arranging labor purchasing materials and tracking costAssist with the management of the site activities and any changesPerform project close out and provide assistance to project managers and customers in fostering long term customer relationshipsAssist during the drafting process with shop drawing reviews tracking changes and submittalsAssist in analyzing Curtainwall Storefront and door specifications and related data to determine design requirementsOther duties as assignedPosition RequirementsA two year Associate degree or Vocational certificate andor four year related degree in Construction Management or related construction fieldExperience in a support roleproject management in the Curtainwall industry preferredConstruction experience requiredQualificationsAbility to read and interpret specs and blueprintsBasic knowledge of glazingenclosure industryProficient in the use of MS Office suite including MS ProjectProficient in the use of Google suiteStrong organizational skills to deal with competing customer needsExcellent interpersonal and communication Ability to communicate with employees at all levels in the organizationSkilled in performing standard mathematical calculationsWorking ConditionsPerformance of duties will mostly be in
